Lithuania - Toris Laurinaitis

___ rolled onto her stomach, staring at the headboard in front of her. She felt nauseous, as if she had eaten some bad food (or more likely, Arthur's cooking). Just as she was about to go back to sleep, a hand gently shook her shoulders. Letting out a sigh, ___ looked up to whomever was touching her. Toris Laurinaitis nervously gave her a smile but motioned for her to stay quiet instead of yelling at him for waking her up. With hesitating, the Lithuanian grabbed her wrist and pulled her from the bed as quickly as he could. She was about to ask him what was going on, only to be silenced once more as he pulled her toward Alfred's closet. He ushered ___ in, ignoring her silent protests.

Once she was in, he also stepped in and closed the door behind him. The closet was much smaller than either thought in the first place, forcing them to have to sit against each other. She opened her mouth to demand what was going on, only to silence herself at the sound of heavy footfalls. Once they were gone, the brown-haired Lithuanian turned to look at her with sorrowful eyes.

"Labas rytas, ___,' Toris was the first to speak, 'I'm sorry for dragging you out of bed so early in the morning after such a long night, but Ivan was looking for you...and I know you don't like him..."
___ shook her head, glaring at the crack in the door that was letting light pour in, "It doesn't matter, I guess,' she admitted, 'Better to hide in Alfred's dusty closet all day with the man I lo-ike, that I like. As a friend. Strictly a friend. Ah, nevermind - just - good morning."

Lithuania looked over at ___, a confused look on his face. Just as he was about to reply to her strange words, the sound of feet was heard again - followed by the nervous voice of Raivis and Eduard, obviously looking for Toris. Ivan called out for the Lithuanian, wanting to go home now. Instead of revealing ___'s location, he left the closet and her and walked toward the others. After a few minutes of stunned silence, ___ left the closet herself and looked around. She was all alone.

___ had almost forgotten the morning by the time she had arrived home (she had a very considerate - but cold - Lukas drive her). Fortunately, her hangover wasn't too bad that she couldn't do anything. ___ had so many things to do before her next meeting it was ridiculous. Not even the new year would make her feel better. She thought for sure that God was trying to play a joke on her or something with Toris. It was no secret that she had liked him for a while, her closest friends knew (and ultimately her ex had known, it was one of the reasons they broke up). It was just the matter that he liked someone else - or so it had been rumored. Now she had totally screwed up her plans of trying to woo him.

Just as she was about to cook dinner, her telephone rang. Letting out a sigh, she picked it off the receiver.

"Hello, ___ ___ speaking,' she said, 'May I ask whose calling?"

There was a quick chatter on the other side, "She picked up Toris", "Really?", and a "No, I'm just kidding. Yes, she picked up!". ___ let out a sigh, listening to the quiet arguing between Eduard and Toris as they began to bicker over the telephone. Finally after a few minutes of bickers, Toris called out ___'s name.

"I took consideration in what you had said early, ___,' he began to say, 'And how you almost confessed your feelings - sorry but Feliks told me ("THAT BASTARD" you thought quietly) - and I want to tell you that I like you too."
All anger at the Polish man disappeared, "What?' she gasped slightly, 'Are you serious?"
"Y-yes, and I wanted to say that- Oh, I'm sorry Mr. Ivan!' he quickly changed topics, 'I will pick up your dinner in a minute, just please let me get off the phone with Feliks first. I wanted to say that I really do want to go out with you, but with Ivan on my back about taking care of him, I'm not sure I have a lot of time between him and school."
___ chuckled, "Just tell Ivan that, he's really nice for a total scary man,' she admitted, 'I'm wrong to dislike him. And I can always help with your homework, Toris."
"I'm glad to hear you say that, ___~' he sighed deeply, 'Because - why do I have to say this, Eduard? - I need help finding the slope of that awesome ass of yours....' There was silence on the line for a second until there was a sound of laughter and someone being struck. 'I'm sorry, Eduard told me to say that...."
"The slope of my ass if much more positive than his anyway."
